Description Of Service: What do we do?Youth Support Services • Counselling and general support for young people aged 12 to 25.• Individual and group anger management courses.• Support for parents of adolescents.• Training in Hospitality , Information Technology and Retail • Crisis support.The Oasis Hunter Olive Branch CafeSince June 1997, the café has operated as a training program for young people to gain skills and hands on experience in the Hospitality Industry. The training is nationally accredited in Hospitality Operations.The café is staffed entirely by training participants under the guidance and supervision of industry experienced and qualified training staff. Flexibility and support offered enables trainees to achieve personal and vocational goals.The Café/Restaurant is open to the public Tuesday to Friday from 9.00am to 2.00pm.Nourish Café at Bolton Point is a Training Café (Links to Learning Program)Eligible participants can achieve a statement of attainment in hospitality as well as life skills education.The Salvation Army College of Further EducationThe Oasis Hunter is a site of The Salvation Army College of Further Education, a Registered Training Organization offering a wide variety of nationally accredited training courses, as well as programs in Life Skills and General Education.Courses include accredited training in:• Hospitality • Retail • Information TechnologySupported Accommodation ProgramProvides medium term supported accommodation in the community for single men, single women aged 18 - 25 years and families. Clients are referred from rehabilitation services, hostels, other agencies, women's refuges and self referred.
