Description Of Service:
Newcastle Youth Accommodation Services Ltd (NYASL) is a community based, non-profit organisation that provides supported accommodation and life skills opportunities for young people aged 15-21 who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. We operate a 24 emergency refuge as well as medium term, supported accommodation for those transitioning out of crisis.
NYASL facilitates a life skills program that is accessible to young people living in the community. Topics include budgeting, cooking, Rent It Keep It, and various pro-social activities designed to encourage personal growth in young people.
