Description Of Service: The Loft Youth Venue is a place for young people aged between 12- 25 to hang out; participate in art and cultural workshops, or come and see a live band in a safe drug and alcohol free environment.
Our regular programs available to young people are Beats & Rhymes, Fortheloveofarts, Ninja Radio, Indent Music program, and Inzine. We also offer Indigenous cultural programs such as Count Me In, and various indigenous events. We hold holiday workshops throughout the year and assist young people with organising events and grant applications.
The Loft also supports Newcastle Youth Council, where council members can make a difference in the wider community. All our programs are youth driven and provide young people the opportunity to express themselves while developing new skills in a safe environment. |
