Additional Funding

The Inclusion and Early Intervention Directorate within the Department of Family and Community Services, is pleased to advise that we are able to offer additional funding support for rural and regional youth participation activities in your area. This funding will support the provision of additional activities and opportunities for young people in your area to participate.

This additional support is a one-off grant of $1,500, that will not need to be cash matched and is to be used to deliver additional youth participation activities that are youth-lead and youth-driven (similar to youth week activities) between June 2019 and the end of December 2019. The funds will need to be acquitted and a completion report provided by the end of December 2019 via the online SmartyGrants system. The funds cannot be used to support or reimburse costs relating to Youth Week.

Next week (Monday 29 April), further instructions will be provided via email on how to accept the grant and claim the funds. Grant funds will need to be claimed by the end of May 2019.
